Product Notices
1. This reagent has been pre-diluted for use at the recommended Volume per Test. We typically use
1 × 10^6 cells in a 100-μL experimental sample
(a test).
2. Isotype control is not needed because the antibody has no Fc region.
3. For Research Use Only.
QC Testing:

Flow cytometric analysis of CD4 expression on mouse peripheral blood lymphocytes.
Peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) was stained with Anti-mouse CD4 Recombinant Antibody (GFP tag). Erythrocytes were lysed with Lysing Buffer. The two-parameter dot plot showing CD4 expression were derived from gated events with the forward and side light-scattering characteristics of viable lymphocytes.

Flow cytometric analysis of CD4 expression on mouse peripheral blood leucocyte populations
Mouse whole blood was stained with either Control Antibody or Anti-mouse CD4 Recombinant Antibody (GFP tag). Erythrocytes were lysed with Lysing Buffer. Bivariate pseudocolor density plots showing the correlated expression of CD4 [or control staining] versus side light-scatter (SSC-A) signals were derived from gated events with the forward and side light-scatter characteristics of intact leucocyte populations.
Description
The monoclonal antibody specifically binds to the mouse CD4 (L3T4) differentiation antigen. CD4 is expressed on most thymocytes, asubpopulation of mature T lymphocytes (i.e., MHC class II-restricted T cells, including most T helper cells), and a subset of NK-T cells. Inaddition, CD4 has also been reported to be detectable on pluripotent hematopoietic stem cells, bone marrow myeliod and B-lymphocyteprecursors, intrathymic lymphoid precursors, and a subset of splenic dendritic cells. CD4 has also been reported to be expressed on the plasmamembrane of mouse egg cells and is involved in adhesion of the egg to MHC class II-bearing sperm.
